For qualifying patients, we may recommend Philips Zoom DayWhite® or Philips Zoom NiteWhite® treatment to help you achieve your cosmetic smile goals. Our teeth-whitening system includes a personalized kit, complete with custom-designed whitening trays that fit over your teeth, and a supply of powerful, but safe, whitening gel. NiteWhite® treatment has you apply the material and wear the custom tray throughout the night as you sleep. DayWhite®, on the other hand, offers an alternative for patients who do not want to wear trays throughout the night. It consists of two 30-minute treatments a day. When using the take-home trays, your routine should be as follows.
- First, begin by brushing your teeth as you normally would.
- Add the dentist-recommended amount of whitening gel to your custom trays, then place the trays over your teeth for the prescribed amount of time.
- Next, remove the trays and rinse with cold water.
- Finally, brush your teeth again.
